I want to share some of the reasons why having a professional wedding coordinator present on your wedding day is a necessity, not a luxury. Pre-Wedding Necessities
A wedding coordinator does much more than just direct events on the wedding day. Our job starts, typically, 1-2 months before your date. I create timelines and itineraries for the vendors, couple, wedding party, rehearsal, etc. I also have meetings with my clients to go over every last detail to ensure everything is planned out as seamless as possible.
"Why do I need a professional to do this?"
Only an experienced, professional wedding coordinator can create a timeline that reflects a seamless wedding day - while also taking in to account the other vendor's needs, cushion times, possibilities, etc.
Wedding Day
Even if you plan your entire wedding down to every last detail, you still need a professional wedding coordinator present on your big day. Why?
You, your family, & friends have probably never coordinated an event professionally before. Weddings are different than any other event, every detail matters and the standards are extremely high.
There will be hiccups throughout the day, and you need an experienced professional to know the best ways to handle them.
